The board of directors of the Sarasota YMCA has elected Michele Grimes as Chair, Kim Githler as Vice Chair, Peter Powers as Treasurer, and Dan Dannheisser as Secretary, each serving two-year terms as officers.
Grimes, an attorney at Williams Parker, has served on the board since 2016. She previously served as Secretary for the past year and serves on the finance committee. Githler, President of MoneyShow, has served on the board since 2016. She currently chairs the development committee and serves on the governance committee. Powers, a retired engineer executive, has served on the board since 2017 and serves on the finance and governance committees. Dannheisser, attorney at Paderwski & Dannheisser, served on the board from 2014-2016 and rejoined this year. He serves on the Youth and Family Services / Foster Care committee and development committee.
The other members of the Sarasota YMCA Board for the 2018-2019 term are Erik J. Arroyo, Paul Bowman, Charles G. Bryant III, James Buchanan, Wyatt Chocklett, Clay Cobb, Ronda Gallehue, Trevor Harvey, Ed Landis, Larry Lev, Lynette Mancuso, Bill McClure, Jim Sartori and Candy Swick.
