“The Small Business’ Guide to Digital Marketing” will offer an insider’s look at digital marketing, delivered by digital marketing consultant and coach Nick Choat.
Choat, a small business owner and SCORE mentor, will share local market examples from his experience in using digital marketing to help grow his own (Sport Clips Haircuts) franchise businesses. He will also share insights gained through working in digital marketing and big data analytics for large corporations – including Walt Disney Company, Boeing, Getty Images and Drugstore.com.
“Small business owners need to learn about digital marketing opportunities and how to take advantage of digital platforms, or they risk being left behind,” Choat said. He wrote a book on the topic, “Online or Flatline: The Small Business Owner’s Guide to Digital Marketing.”
Dennis Zink, SCORE Manasota chapter chair, emphasizes the importance of digital marketing. “Small business owners need to know about affordable digital marketing opportunities that can help them increase engagement with customers and prospects to grow their business,” Zink said.
This workshop will be held from 5:30 PM to 8 PM on Tuesday, July 10, at Keiser University, 6151 Lake Osprey Drive, Sarasota.
Registration is requested for all attendees, and it is available at https://www.manasota.score.org. The workshop fee is $20 pre-paid with registration or $25 at the event. For additional information, contact SCORE Manasota at scorech116@verizon.net or 941.955.1029.
