ST. PETERSBURG, FL (June 25, 2018) —- Tampa Bay Research Institute (TBRI) is celebrating 37 years of pioneering biomedical research to find ways to use the body’s immune system to fight disease. The TBRI annual community reception will be held on Tuesday, October 9th at the St. Petersburg Hilton Carillon and begins at 5:30pm.
As a non-profit organization, TBRI’s team of scientists and emerging student scientists continue to research ways to strengthen the body’s immune system through immunotherapy. TBRI has been awarded a multitude of patents for its discovery of the relationship between virus infections and cancer,
The October 9th event will be a mixture of food, fun and sharing of TBRI’s exciting research updates with donors and the community. The event is themed “Mad About Science” and includes a Silent Auction with a variety of items available for bid.
