VENICE, Fla. – Rotary Futures College Resource Center, a community-based nonprofit resource center that provides free post-secondary planning services to area students, is hosting its biggest fundraiser of the year, Comedy Night, on Saturday, August 25 from 5:30 – 10 p.m.
This year, the always sold-out event will feature hilarity from local clean comedian Juanita Lolita. She has been featured on NBC, ABC and the CTN. Lolita’s latin flair and hillbilly background has made her a crowd favorite. Focusing on observations from everyday life, she prides herself on making crowds laugh without profanity.
Held at the Plantation Golf & Country Club at 500 Rockley Blvd. in Venice, an extensive silent auction will also be available for attendees. A $125 ticket includes a delicious dinner and complimentary selections of beer and wine.

The Rotary Futures College Resource Center (RFCRC) is a community-based nonprofit resource center located at Venice High School. The organization provides free post-secondary planning services to Venice-area students of all ages. The RFCRC’s innovative approach utilizes a resource center with computers, numerous printed materials and volunteers to assist students, parents and community members.
