New Port Richey, FL (June 21, 2018) – Saturday, June 23, Summertime in the City at Sims Park (6431 Bank Street) from 5-8p.m.
Sponsored by the Dan Wright Corporation and presented by The City of New Port Richey Parks and Recreation Department Youth Advisory Board Summertime in the City is a summer wet and wild event with dunk tank, waterslides, firehose squirt and fun for the family members of all ages. There is a $5 wristband charge which gets you onto the waterslides as many times as you want. This event is held prior to the FREE Family Movie Night so plan on taking in both family events.
The City of New Port Richey Parks and Recreation Department Youth Advisory Board is proud to again present Summertime in the City bringing residents of all ages to the downtown’s focal point, beautiful Sims Park, to enjoy a free family fun event in an outdoor setting. The City of New Port Richey Parks and Recreation Department Youth Advisory Board consists of fifteen junior high and high school students donating their time and energy for the betterment of the community while learning event planning, communication, time management and public speaking skills.
The City of New Port Richey Parks and Recreation Department is hosting Family Movie Night Paddington 2 right after Summertime in the City starting at 8:30p.m. Snacks will be available for sale from local nonprofit organizations and everyone is welcome to visit the New Port Richey downtown restaurants and shops before the movie starts!
The title sponsor for Summertime in the City is The Dan Wright Corporation, a full service New Port Richey air conditioning and heating company founded in 1973 that services both business and residential customers in the West Pasco, Pinellas and Hillsborough areas. The City of New Port Richey Parks and Recreation Department are proud to again be partnering with this long standing New Port Richey company.
