The Sarasota Architectural Foundation (SAF) announced that financial advisor, Lisa Russo, has joined its Board of Directors.
“Having grown up in Sarasota when mid-century modern architecture was flourishing, Lisa is very enthusiastic about SAF” said Anne Marie Bergevin, co-chair of the SAF board. “Owner of Ralph Twitchell’s 1960 Rae Residence, she takes great pride in restoring the home to its original elegance and beauty, hence why we’re so pleased she agreed to join like-minded Modernistas on the SAF Board.”
Born and raised in Sarasota, Russo was in the first graduating class at Pine View. She earned her MBA from the University of South Florida and her undergraduate degree from Florida State University. Following her experience as a business owner for 12 years and an adjunct professor teaching business courses, she became a wealth advisor in 2001. She is currently Senior Vice President for Baird Private Wealth Management in the Sarasota South office.
Since 2008, Russo has been included annually in the Barron’s Winners Circle Top Women Advisors Summit and has served on the board of the Johnson Singer Foundation, a private family foundation involved in charitable giving.
Sarasota Architectural Foundation (SAF): SAF’s mission is to educate, advocate and celebrate the legacy of the Sarasota School of Architecture. Its Board of Directors is comprised of individuals from the design, medical, business, academic and volunteer communities of Sarasota.
