Tampa, Fla., June 20, 2018—Colliers International today announced that Paul Fischetti has joined the company as Managing Director – Retail Services for Colliers International Tampa Bay, Florida.
Fischetti, who joins Colliers from a senior retail broker position at Newmark Knight Frank, is one of the top retail brokers in west-central Florida, specializing in tenant representation, landlord representation and sales. The list of clients he has worked with includes such successful companies as Earl of Sandwich, Hooters International, Rodizio Grill, Sea Dog Brewing, Burgerim, and Buffalo Wings and Rings.
“We are thilled to have Paul join the Colliers International family as we continue to expand our top-tier retail brokerage team in the Tampa Bay market,” said Danny Rice, Managing Director and Market Leader for Colliers International Tampa Bay, Central & Southwest Florida. “He has both deep market knowledge and an excellent track record for exceeding clients’ expectations – a powerful combination.”
As one of his recent successes, Fischetti managed the leasing for the mostly vacant ground floor of downtown Tampa’s Element condo tower, and nearly leased all of it with several restaurants including Hungry Greek, Burgerim and Earl of Sandwich. The last remaining space has a letter of intent out with a very exciting concept.
Paul also spent 20 years in the financial services industry with major investment firms such as Morgan Stanley, UBS and AXA. This provided him with an ideal background for making a move into the commercial real estate industry given the similar correlation between the two industries.
Earlier in his career, Fischetti was a managing director for Savills Studley, and as director of recruiting for Universal Financial Consultants. A graduate of Florida Institute of Technology, he proudly served with the U.S. Army as an intelligence analyst, and the Army National Guard of Florida Military Police Unit. As part of that service, he was awarded the Humanitarian Service Medal for his work in the aftermath of Hurricane Andrew.
Colliers serves a wide range of retail clients in west-central Florida, such as fast-growing retailers and restaurants looking for new locations, retail center owners selling or leasing space, and investors looking for promising opportunities.
“The Colliers platform provides excellent technology and marketing support, along with a team approach that is extremely appealing,” Fischetti said. “It adds up to a high level of quality service to clients, and that’s the ultimate key to any real estate professional’s success.”
