TAMPA, FL – June 4, 2018 – Greenberg Traurig, P.A. Tampa office Associate Danielle M. Diaz has been elected to the Board of Directors for Alpha House of Tampa.
Alpha House of Tampa is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that offers homeless pregnant women and mothers with young children safe housing and the tools they need to become self-sufficient and effective, responsible parents. Serving more than 300 mothers, babies, and toddlers throughout Hillsborough and parts of Pasco Counties, Alpha House of Tampa provides intensive case management, linkages to a myriad of community supports, child development services, housing search services, employment and educational opportunities, and comprehensive aftercare outreach.
“I am pleased to serve as a board member for Alpha House of Tampa as it will allow me make a difference in the lives of underprivileged women and families,” Diaz said. “I look forward to working with other board members to help provide services to this important segment of our Tampa community.”
Diaz focuses her practice on litigation involving contract disputes, administrative law, and commercial and regulatory claims against the federal government. She has broad experience in varying aspects of litigation, including fact and expert discovery, discovery motions, summary judgment motions and other pleadings, settlement discussions, mediation, binding arbitration, trial preparation, direct and cross-examination of fact witnesses, and appellate briefs. Diaz is also active in pro bono matters, and has represented an asylum seeker in removal proceedings in immigration court.
