Join the Tampa Bay Beaches Chamber of Commerce efforts to Ban Offshore Oil Drilling

June 11, 2018 by Post

The Tampa Bay Beaches Chamber of Commerce Community Advocacy Quarterly Meeting features panel discussion on offshore oil drilling

Enjoy complimentary coffee and hear about efforts to permanently ban oil drilling off our coast during Tampa Bay Beaches Chamber of Commerce panel discussion. We have had a ban in place since the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill, however that ban is set to expire. Another oil spill would be detrimental to our economy and quality of life. That is why we need to advocate for a permanent ban on oil drilling in our Gulf.

Panelist Include the Following:

  • Oceana – Hunter Miller
  • Clearwater Marine Aquarium – David Yates
  • Tampa Bay Waterkeeper – Andrew Hayslip

What: Complimentary Coffee & Conserving our Coast Panel

When: 9:00 a.m. June 21st

Where: Madeira Beach City Hall, 300 Municipal Drive, Madeira Beach
