Homosassa, Florida (June 5, 2018) – Royal Dalton House has been assisting Citrus Blessings in their food ministry. According to Alyson Truong, Life Enrichment Director at Royal Dalton House, “Whenever Citrus Blessings needs help with a packaging job, I volunteer my time.”
Last week Alyson and Royal Dalton House provided the new Royal Dalton House bus and helped move already packaged bags of food from their main office in Lecanto to the Citrus chamber office in Crystal River. “I brought the RDH bus over and we accommodated 720 bags on the bus,” said Alyson. Royal Dalton House will also be a host pantry site for Citrus Blessings beginning the coming school year where Alyson and RDH residents will pack bags of food weekly.

About the Royal Dalton House Back-Up Generator
The Royal Dalton House is proud of the fact that its new building features the first back-up generator to be in total compliance with the latest regulations since Hurricane Irma.
The latest generator regulations state that each resident must have 20 square feet of area in an environment that does not exceed 81º for a minimum of 96 hours. If the county is under a state of emergency, Royal Dalton House is proud to state that they will have refrigeration and safety lighting throughout their building. Royal Dalton House will be able to provide close to 50 square feet per resident (47 to be exact) for that time period.
It is important to remember that the building is block construction with state-of-the-art materials as well as the fact that it is east of US 19 and not in a flood plain. Additionally, Royal Dalton House will be a host facility for staff and families and possibly other ALF residents.
