MANATEE COUNTY, Fla. – The Children’s Guardian Fund, a nonprofit organization that responds to the needs of children removed from abusive and neglectful homes, is hosting Havana Nights, an inaugural annual fundraiser and summer event from 7:30 – 11 p.m. on June 9 at the Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club.
The festive event will feature music, salsa dance lessons, tapas, Cuban-themed cocktails, raffle prizes and much more.
The presenting sponsor for the event is Evolve Business Consulting, a Manatee-based business coaching and customer service training agency in Manatee County.
“The mission of the Children’s Guardian Fund is so important to children in crisis in our community,” said Jaime Marco, president of Evolve and a former Guardian ad litem. “One hundred percent of the proceeds from this event will benefit the nonprofit and provide birthday presents to children in foster care in Sarasota, Manatee and Desoto Counties.”
