LAKEWOOD RANCH, Fla. – April sales remained strong at Neal Communities, southwest Florida’s premier, private homebuilder, with 103 new home sales recorded last month in neighborhoods spanning from Hillsborough to Collier Counties.
The builder has noted a brisk sales pace throughout the start of 2018, breaking a company record in the first quarter of the year and bringing its year-to-date total to 439 sales – a more than 5 percent increase from last year.
“A bulk of buyers continue to choose a new move-in-ready home compared to a home on the resale market,” said Carlos Puente, vice president of sales for the Lakewood Ranch-based builder. “We offer a large number of move-in-ready homes in all of our neighborhoods. Homebuyers also have lots of opportunities to select a home site and build from scratch to accommodate all their needs. Our model centers have seen continuous walk-in traffic despite the typical springtime decline in visitors.”
Several communities are in closeout phases for the builder with limited opportunities remaining, such as Eagle Trace in Bradenton, Magnolia Point in Sarasota and Estero Place in Fort Myers. Neal Communities is now completely sold out at Villa Amalfi in Sarasota, a popular community that offered luxury, maintenance-included villa homes.
Recently, the builder broke ground on the new recreational center at Indigo, a gated, resort-style community in Lakewood Ranch. Dubbed Indigo Oasis, the latest, second recreational center will be an exclusive offering for villa homeowners in Indigo. The amenity center will feature a resort-style pool and spa, a lounge deck and restroom facilities. Luxurious and leisurely, Neal Communities projects a summer 2018 opening.
Neal Signature Homes, the firm’s luxury custom home division, sold seven homes in April and is now sold out at The Inlets, a waterfront community in Manatee County.
Neal’s southern division, encompassing Lee and Collier Counties, was responsible for 25 sales. Recently, the builder broke ground on the model homes at Marquesa Isles, a new Naples neighborhood.
Located off County Barn Road, the premier community will comprise of 156 villas on approximately 38 acres in Naples. The neighborhood will also feature an amenity building, a resort-style pool and a dog park.
