Tampa, Fla. – May 3, 2018 – “Enlighten us, but make it quick” is the mantra and key to Ignite talks. The fast-paced event filled with inspiring five minute talks known as Ignite Tampa Bay kicks of its seventh year on June 13th. The Palladium Theater is the venue this year, the first time in Pinellas County.
The evening is an eclectic mix of networking, inspiration, art, learning and fun. Ignite Tampa Bay has been a sold out event each year because of its unique nature.
Doors open at 6:00 pm and the talks begin at 7:00pm. The first wave of speakers has been chosen from a pool of more than 30 submissions.
• Barry Greene What to do when the Lights are Out
• Dan Denney Learn Do Share
• Daniel Scott You AF
• Doug Pace Stroke of Genius
• Joel Lopez To Absurdity

The presentations are meant to “ignite” the audience on a subject, that is, to stimulate thought and action on the topics presented. “I’d like to tell you there is a theme, but this year the only theme is that the topics are diverse,” said Peter Radizeski, cofounder of Ignite Tampa Bay.
There are ten more speakers to be picked. Potential speakers can still submit talks via the website until May 19th.
Ignite Tampa Bay is produced by Technova Florida, Inc. an entirely volunteer-run, non-profit organization. Presenting sponsor – SourceToad – leads the way in making Ignite Tampa Bay possible. Sponsorship is still available.
The event will be held in the historical Palladium Theater in ST. Pete. To learn more about the event visit Ignite Tampa Bay. Tickets for the events are available here. For up-to-date news, visit the Ignite Tampa Bay Facebook Page and follow on Twitter for announcements.
