ST. PETERSBURG, FL (May 10, 2018) – Learn how city leaders create an annual city budget and find out about next year’s spending priorities during the FY2019 City Budget Open House to be held next Monday, May 14, at 6 p.m. The open house, held at the Coliseum, 535 Fourth Ave. N., gives citizens one-on-one access with Mayor Rick Kriseman, Deputy Mayor Dr. Kanika Tomalin, City Council members and senior administrators. City department staff will also be on hand to answer questions starting at 6 p.m., followed by an overview of the budget process and city spending priorities. The public will have an opportunity for comment before City Council members share their thoughts on the proposed budget.

City Council will consider the FY2019 budget for adoption during public hearings at 6:30 p.m. on September 6 and 20 at City Hall, 175 Fifth St. N.
