Hernando, Pasco & Pinellas, Florida (May 10, 2018) – Access Health Care Physicians, LLC, proudly announces that its founder and CEO Pariksith Singh, MD, was recently recognized by the Hernando County Board of County Commissioners for his many achievements and contributions to the community. At its May 8 meeting the Hernando County BOCC presented Dr. Singh with a Resolution recognizing “his distinguished achievements, leadership, philanthropic efforts, and community initiatives that enrich and give back to our community.”
In presenting the Resolution, County Commissioners especially discussed Dr. Singh’s economic impact on the community with all of Access’ employees and innovations in the community.
The Resolution discussed:
- The opening of the Auro Community Outreach Center to help provide food, cash, and medical assistance for those in need.
- The Auro Community Garden as a sustainable garden “using natural growing methods, free of harmful insecticides and other chemicals.”
- The Auroveda Operating Foundation, which includes the Outreach Center and Community Garden.
- His recognition as Oak Hill Hospital’s Frist Humanitarian Physician in 2017, an award which honors outstanding individuals for their humanitarian and volunteer activities.
In his acceptance speech he first thanked his beautiful wife, Dr. Maria Scunziano-Singh, making it very clear that she is a critical part of all progress that has been made. He then passionately told the commission chambers, “We have all the talent right here in Hernando County for moving forward in growth. Everything we need for innovation and advancement is right in our town, where I am proud to raise my children.”
