Pasco-Hernando State College’s (PHSC) spring commencement held on Wednesday, May 2, included presentations of two $10,000 donations to the PHSC Foundation provided by Rao Musunuru, M.D., chair, PHSC District Board of Trustees and nationally renowned local cardiologist. The two donations create endowed scholarships in honor of Marilyn Pearson-Adams, PHSC District Board of Trustees member, and Robin Schneider, PHSC District Board of Trustees vice chair.
In the past year, the Pasco-Hernando State College Foundation has awarded $1,000,000 in scholarships to benefit PHSC students. The generous support from donors like Dr. Musunuru helps make this possible.
Nearly 900 students earned degrees and certificates, with 424 conferred at the two ceremonies. Sixty dual enrollment graduates completed associate’s degree requirements.
