Bates Will Lead a Team of 10 Capital Markets Financial Analysts Throughout the State
TAMPA, FL, April 30, 2018 – Cushman & Wakefield is pleased to announce that LaShawn Bates has been promoted to Director of Financial Analysis for the firm’s Florida offices. In this statewide role, Bates will lead a team of 10 analysts who provide important financial insight related to investment sales and acquisitions.
Bates recently celebrated her 10th anniversary with Cushman & Wakefield, and for the last 10 years has worked with the Tampa- and Orlando-based Capital Markets Team of Vice Chairman Mike Davis, Executive Director Rick Brugge and Executive Director Michael Lerner. In 2017, the team completed 32 office and industrial transactions totaling nearly $3 billion.

Bates is an active leader in the Florida commercial real estate community, serving in several capacities that support women in the industry. She is a member of Cushman & Wakefield’s Women’s Integrated Network (WIN) as well as Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW). She was recently chosen as one of only five Cushman & Wakefield female employees nationwide to receive a scholarship for CREW’s 2018 Leadership Certificate Program, which she attended in January.
Bates joined Cushman & Wakefield in March 2008 from KeyBank Real Estate Capital, where she was a Senior Loan Analyst. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Kansas.
