[TAMPA, FLA] – Imagine navigating the care of a sick parent, coping with a death in the family and juggling a child’s wedding all while managing a small business. For Bay Area business owner Ellen Nastir, this trifecta of unthinkable events all came to a head last month.
Fortunately, Ellen is not your ordinary professional. She’s a coach and an expert in positive psychology who will be sharing her secrets for remaining resilient during the most challenging times at the 8th Annual Nonprofit Leadership Conference on May 17th at the Tampa Bay Convention Center.
Nastir will be one of seven speakers at the conference, which includes national and local leadership experts such as New York Times best-selling author Dr. Tasha Eurich, Jessica Muroff, NLC Board Chair and CEO of Girl Scouts of West Central Florida; Raymond James Director of Diversity and Inclusion Michele Reeves; and Rick Bennett, Manager of Community Development and Education for Florida Blue.
The conference, which will focus on essential meta-skills for a changing workforce, will also feature breakout sessions on topics including mindfulness to reduce stress and make better decisions; leading change; and relationship building for personal and professional success.
Pinellas County nonprofit organizations are eligible for a 20 percent conference registration discount and should use the code Pinellas18 to claim their discount.
