Brandon D. Bellew

Brandon D. Bellew, a partner with Johnson, Pope, Bokor, Ruppel & Burns, LLP, has been appointed by Michelle R. Suskauer, President-Elect of The Florida Bar, to serve on the Florida Probate Rules committee beginning July 1.

More than 1,600 lawyers applied to serve on committees this year for almost 1,000 vacancies. The Probate Rules Committee examines the Rules that govern probate proceedings in court and make recommendations for any changes.

Mr. Bellew practices exclusively in the areas of probate, trust and guardianship litigation. He is currently the Clearwater Bar Association’s President-Elect and will serve as its President for the 2018-2019 term and serves on the Executive Council of the Florida Bar’s Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section.

Johnson, Pope, Bokor, Ruppel & Burns, LLP is celebrating its 45th year as a full-service, regional firm with more than 70 lawyers in Tampa, St. Petersburg and Tampa.
