The Kiwanis Club of Tampa along with The Kiwanis Foundation are hosting their 28th annual charity golf tournament at Westchase Golf Club this Friday, April 20th. 1:30pm shotgun start and includes lunch and dinner. There are also contests for a hole in one, closest to the pin, putting and
longest drive. Top prize for a hole-in-one is a 2 year lease on a 2018 Ford Mustang.
The Kiwanis Club of Tampa is a Tampa area charity comprised of business, political and professional leaders in the area and they pride themselves on their “hands-on” philosophy of civic involvement.
“The Kiwanis Club of Tampa has been making a powerful impact in our community for decades,” explains Shawn Robinson, Golf Tournament Director and President Elect. “The proceeds raised from our annual golf tournament are used for scholarships for local students.”
The Kiwanis Club of Tampa, often referred to as the Downtown Club, was organized in 1919 as the first Kiwanis Club in Florida. Join them for a lunch meeting any Wednesday noon at the Tampa Club in downtown Tampa.
