PINELLAS COUNTY, FLA – Pinellas County will host a local conversation with small business owners on Thursday, April 19, at 9:00 a.m. at the St. Petersburg College EpiCenter at 13805 58th St. North, Clearwater 33760. Local business owners are invited to attend and registration is requested to ensure the capacity of the room: www.PCED.org/sbe. There is no cost to attend.
As a 2018 priority, the Pinellas Board of County Commissioners, in partnership with the Purchasing and Economic Development departments, will enhance the County’s Small Business Enterprise (SBE) Program. An enhanced program will foster a strategic approach to expanded access to opportunities and diversifying the supply chain. Listening to the voices of Pinellas County citizens and local business owners will be an essential part of improving and invigorating the SBE program.
“Our goal at this meeting is to listen to our local business owners and learn more about how they’d like to engage in the County procurement process” shared Commissioner Kenneth T. Welch, 2018 Chairman of the Pinellas Board of County Commissioners. “We’re hoping that with their help, we can increase opportunities for small companies to do business with Pinellas County Government.”
