ST. PETE BEACH, Florida, April 9, 2018 – The Tampa Bay Beaches Chamber of Commerce will host its 11th Annual Tourism Lunch Friday, May 11th, 2018. The luncheon will be held at the Tradewinds Island Grand Resort (5500 Gulf Boulevard, St. Pete Beach, FL).
This year’s luncheon will feature speaker Viviana Jordan, Deputy Public Policy Director with Florida Airbnb, a people-powered online marketplace that provides access to millions of unique accommodations in over 65,000 cities and 191 countries around the world. In this role, Jordan helps lead Airbnb’s work with policymakers across the sunshine state in support of reasonable approaches to the regulation of short-term rentals. She will be discussing how technology changing the tourism industry.
The 2018 Tourism Person of the Year to be awarded during event. Past winners include John Morroni, Brian Aungst, Sr., Tony Satterfield, Tim Bogott, Clyde Smith, Keith Overton, Gregg Nicklaus, Steve Westphal, Frank Chivas, and the Nicklaus family.
