TAMPA, Fla. (April 4, 2018) – Yellowfin Realty, a family-owned residential real estate agency with offices in Tampa and Jacksonville, recently hosted a grand opening celebration for their newly renovated office space in Brandon. The space, located at 801 W. Bloomingdale Avenue, was designed to provide a comfortable and efficient workspace for a growing number of agents. Currently, they have more than 55 agents working the Tampa area.
This is the company’s second location in the Brandon/Riverview area. Yellowfin’s corporate office is located in Winthrop Town Centre, where they will continue to meet with clients and oversee business operations.
“I’ve found that in our increasingly digital, paperless society, fewer realtors are looking for a designated office space, preferring to work wherever they are most comfortable. At the same time, most consumers prefer to meet with their agent in a comfortable setting where they feel at ease talking about their real estate goals,” said William Morris, JD, realtor and partner at Yellowfin Realty. “This space was created with both of those parties in mind.”
The space is designed to be a cooperative work environment where Yellowfin agents will consult with customers, while dedicating increased time and energy to collaboration and stay on top of the latest trends and developments affecting the market. The new office will also be the site of ongoing trainings through the newly created Yellowfin Academy for Career Advancement.
In addition to ongoing trainings for all agents, the Academy has an intensive four-week training program designed to provide new or frustrated real estate agents with the foundational knowledge and skill required to be successful in real estate.
“We want to teach agents the knowledge and skills needed to be a trusted and thriving professional,” said Susie Morris, broker and partner at Yellowfin Realty. “The Yellowfin Academy will do just that.”
The grand opening event featured a ribbon cutting ceremony with the Valrico FishHawk Chamber of Commerce, as well as food and drink from a number of local vendors including Dough Raw Me, The Revolution Ice Cream Co., Bootleggers Brewery Company, The Stein & Vine and Commune + Co.
“While we serve the entire Tampa Bay area, this was a good opportunity to celebrate our Brandon roots and feature some of the best vendors in the area,” said Will Morris. “We love living and working in our town. It’s our hope that this repurposed space will have a positive impact on our local real estate industry and the community as a whole.”
