Gallagher & Associates Law Firm, P.A. has launched its new “Pocket Lawyer” application, in what is thought to be the first holographic attorney app. Pocket Lawyer will only be available in Florida initially, with plans expend to other states. The application will be available through the Apple’s App Store and Google Play Store on April 15, 2018. The cost of the app is $15.00.
Pocket Lawyer is a monthly subscription based service that provides real time on call legal services during traditional business hours. Basic plans start at $30 a month with concierge service pricing at $250 a month. Pocket Lawyer is staffed by licensed attorneys with respective subject matter expertise. The app is limited to civil legal matters and there are no plans to include criminal law legal services. “Simply put, this is a game changer, clients will literally now be armed with an attorney in their pocket,” said attorney Charles Gallagher.
Pocket Law allows clients to have legal questions answered on the fly, documents reviewed in real time, “quick connect” consultations and general legal advice. In cases of adversary matters, the app includes a holographic appearance feature by the Pocket Lawyer attorney. Using this feature, the client’s smart phone can project a 3-D hologram in order to advocate on specific matters. This feature of the app has not yet been calibrated to include court appearances and approval is still needed.
“Our goal is to empower our clients with real time legal services. Technology is now bringing legal services to clients wherever they may be,” said Gallagher.”
