We are thrilled to tell you the St. Petersburg Arts Alliance has achieved the highest ranking possible at Guidestar. . . Platinum!
Guidestar is the world’s largest source of information on nonprofits. Just a small number of organizations nationwide have earned Platinum status. Out of 1,654 nonprofits in St. Petersburg, only 8 have earned Platinum designation.
What’s special about getting to Platinum?
- * The St. Pete Arts Alliance stands for results in front of over 9+ million annual GuideStar visitors. Plus tens of millions more people who use the 200+ charitable websites that share GuideStar’s data including AmazonSmile, Facebook and Network for Good.
- * GuideStar profiles with a Platinum Seal get twice as many views as other profiles.
- * We are helping shift from a destructive focus on overhead ratios to a focus on making progress and getting results.
As John Collins, Executive Director of the Arts Alliance says, “I have stated many times that as a nonprofit we are stewards of the public trust. We want EVERY DONOR to see how their investment is being used. To reach the Platinum level of transparency, we added extensive information to our nonprofit profile, including contact and organizational information, in-depth financial information, and quantitative information about goals, strategies and progress toward our mission.”
You should be very proud of your small but mighty St. Petersburg Arts Alliance… Thank you so much for your support!
