Sarasota Orthopedic Associates participated, for the second year, in the Southeastern Guide Dogs Walk-A-Thon on March 24th at Benderson Park. The SOA team, SOA WOOF PACK, raised over $2,700 at their three locations. Donations came from the generosity of staff, physicians, and patients over a three week period. SEGD does not receive government funding, relying solely on donations to provide service dogs for veterans suffering from PTSD and guide dogs for individuals who are sight impaired.
Sarasota Orthopedic Associates, recently named as the #1 choice for orthopedic care in Sarasota and Manatee Counties, supports numerous non-profit community organizations throughout the year including the Circus Arts Conservatory, the Berlin Y, Nate’s Honor Sanctuary, Southeastern Guide Dogs, and expansion of the Legacy Trail. SOA serves as team physicians for Lakewood Ranch High and Booker High as part of their community service. The commitment of Sarasota Orthopedic Associates is to get patients back on their feet, back to work, back in the game, and back to life.
