CLEARWATER, FLORIDA – Help Us Gather (HUG), a non-profit with the mission to connect people with special needs to social activities, will be hosting an inclusive fashion event on Saturday, April 14th in Largo, FL called Beyond Beautiful. The evening will benefit 200 guests and has attracted the support of both the Miss America and Miss International organizations, with title-holding beauty queens traveling to attend the event from all corners of the state.
Beyond Beautiful is the first fashion event of its kind. The evening will celebrate different facets of being a woman, including glamour and friendship, and will feature a unique fashion show to showcase qualities of inner beauty. An exceptional woman with special needs will be crowned in each category during the fashion show, which include charitable, fearless, powerful and inspirational.
Confirmed attendees include Miss Lakeland, Ms. Wheelchair Florida 2017, Miss Southeast International 2017, Miss DeSoto Heritage, Mrs. Southwest Florida International, Miss Largo, Miss Pinellas County’s Outstanding Teen, MAR-USA Teen Miss Florida 2018, and Mrs. Tampa International.
Robin Lally, founder of HUG said, “Our goal for the evening is to have every guest leave with a sense of confidence, inclusion and friendship. Having the support of so many influential women from across the state confirms how important the mission of the evening is.”
Women ages 14 years or older of all abilities are invited to attend this celebratory fashion event. The event will take place at St. Paul United Methodist Church at 1498 Rosery Rd. NE, Largo, Florida 33770 on Saturday, April 14th, 2018 from 6:00 – 8:30 pm. The cost is $5.00. Dressy attire is encouraged but not required.
