Spreading Awareness for Suicide Prevention and the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay

The event is also a celebration of World Theatre Day 2018 and will feature performances from theatre, chorus and other students including the Pink Panthers, an all-female acapella group and the PHS Pridettes Step Team. Local celebrity judges include Avery Cotton from WFLA News Channel 8, Ashley Kinback, a former Buccaneers Cheer Captain, and Brian Yarbrough, lead actor with Eight O Clock Theatre in Pinellas County.
Emily has made it her mission to spread awareness that all suicides are preventable and to also spread awareness of the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay and its free crisis hotline 2-1-1. Tickets are $5 at the door. All proceeds go to the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay.
Be The Voice is produced by Emily Surak and a team of PHS students including Natalie Myers, Charlotte Parks, Mattea Muench, Regan Borucke, Gabby Fehring, Joshua Ruttledge, Morgan Shelton, Alina Leffel, Emmy Ward, Sophia Laratta, Lura Delaney and Kaden Stone.
