Hoback is succeeding Charles Bottoms who served as TFHC President/CEO for 20 years
TAMPA, Fla., Thursday, March 22, 2018 – Tampa Family Health Centers (TFHC) has appointed Sherry Hoback as the new president and chief executive officer, effective March 1, 2018. Hoback has more than 22 years of progressive and diverse health care experience, including more than 10 years with TFHC. She has also played an active role in helping advance TFHC’s innovation models focused on improving patient outcomes and delivery mechanisms.
“I am very excited to have Mrs. Sherry Hoback as the new CEO of Tampa Family Health Centers,” said Dr. Monica Rider, TFHC Chief Medical Officer. “She has worked tirelessly in the community and it will be an honor and a privilege to work with her as she continues her commitment of providing quality care to the underserved community.”
Originally joining TFHC in 2008 as director of nursing, Hoback has held several leadership positions before being appointed as president and CEO, including chief clinical services officer and chief operations officer during her tenure with the organization. With a background in community health and hospital-based healthcare management, Hoback led a healthcare performance transformation which progressed to the managed care arena with a focus on healthcare compliance. She also helps provide strategic leadership that drives the development and implementation of enhanced quality ambulatory care practices.

Hoback also serves on the board of directors for Healthy Start, a program that provides support services for pregnant women and children between the ages of 0-3, and is co-author of Report Writing and Case Analysis and LNC Essentials.
