April 21-22, 2018 sees the start of a new event tradition in Tampa: the Tampa Bay Seafood & Music Festival at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park, adjacent to the Tampa Museum of Art. The event will also partially benefit the St. Petersburg Arts Alliance.
Enjoy a weekend celebration of food and music. Hours are both Saturday and Sunday 11am – 8pm. General admission is $7 at the gate, $5 in advance with children 12 and under free. VIP Tent admission is $130 that includes an open raw bar serving shrimp, oysters and crab legs, open bar and a private lounge area with dedicated service staff, all set with optimal view of the music stage. Tickets can be purchased thru EventLive.
The Tampa Bay Seafood & Music Festival is prepared like a great meal, incorporating and blending the finest ingredients. Menu items are freshly-cooked onsite by top local restaurants and food purveyors, incorporating a variety of ingredients (seafood, meat and vegetarian). All seafood dishes are created using indigenous and sustainable resources from Florida’s coastal waters. Choose from a diverse selection of side dishes and scrumptious desserts. Quench your thirst from a broad menu of alcoholic, non-alcoholic and fruit drinks. Another component of the event is a Marketplace showcasing arts and crafts along with a selection of fine products, gourmet food items and specialty items.
Musical entertainment is live on-stage performances by creative and talented musicians from the local and regional circuit. Genres of music include rock, soul, R&B to jazz and Caribbean sounds. Live performers on Saturday are: the Sarasota Steel Pan Band, Reverend Barry & the Funk, Twinkle & Rock Soul Radio and RJ Howson. Sunday performers are: Kettle of Fish, the Greg Billings Band, The Black Honkeys Band and Act 3.
So much to see and enjoy – this is a ‘cannot be missed’ event! Bring family and friends or meet up with clients and associates. We will lay the feast upon the table – all we need is the final and most important ingredient – YOU! Come and enjoy! We look forward to meeting you.
