WHAT: The U.S. is in the midst of a manufacturing renaissance, one that will see humans work collaboratively with robotic technologies in high-satisfaction, in-demand manufacturing careers. With more than 140 members across the country, the Advanced Robotics for Manufacturing (ARM) Institute, based in Pittsburgh, PA, works towards this manufacturing future by catalyzing robotics and workforce innovation through collaborative project calls.
As a valued ARM member, FCDI will host a manufacturing workshop with ARM leadership on March 26 , at the Hillsborough County Entrepreneur Collaborative Center 2101 E. Palm Ave Tampa, FL 33605, from 6pm to 9pm. The goal of the workshop is to begin establishing a regional collaborative network across the Tampa Bay area and to explore the future of manufacturing regionally and nationally. This free workshop and networking opportunity is being held as part of ARM’s Regional Collaborative program, a critical component of its national strategy that connects leaders who help to guide the direction of ARM by providing region-specific insight and expertise. ARM is proud to partner with FCDI, a leading resource for innovation in the Tampa area, on the first ARM regional workshop in Florida.
The workshop will be led by Dr. Byron Clayton, CEO, and Bob Grabowski, Deputy CTO, The Advanced Robotics for Manufacturing (ARM) Institute, with welcome and introductions by Terri Willingham, Executive Director Foundation for Community Driven Innovation (FCDI).
