OSPREY, FL (March 19th, 2018)- Sarasota Crew’s Masters raced at the Tampa Mayor’s Cup Regatta at the Tampa Bypass Canal this past weekend. Sarasota Crew’s Masters compiled 20 entries, and came home with 10 first place finishes, 4 second place finishes, and 3 third place finishes. Races were 1,000 meters in the full range of boat categories.
“This was the third regatta we attended in the past month and in every single race we improve.” stated Sarasota Crew’s Masters Coach Jon Campana. “It’s great for the athletes to see the product of their hard work and long hours on the water paying off for them come race time. I’m really happy with how we are executing the race plan, and I look forward to more competition in the coming months.”
