Spring Hill, Florida (March 16, 2018) – Oak Hill Hospital will continue its very popular For Your HealthCommunity Education Series with a seminar entitled, “Breathe Well: Preventing COPD,” on Tuesday, March 27, 2018, from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm at its Graduate Medical Education Conference Center, 11307 Cortez Boulevard, Brooksville, Florida 34613 (on the campus of Oak Hill Hospital). The program will be conducted by Salman Muddassir, MD, board certified in internal medicine, and Amrita Randhawa, MD, internal medicine resident.
One in five Americans has Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), a progressive lung disease that over time makes it hard to breathe. Sixteen million people are diagnosed, but millions more may have it and not even know it. Dr. Salman Muddassir and Dr. Amrita Randhawa (who are on staff at Oak Hill Hospital) will discuss the disease, its symptoms, treatment, and prevention. The presentation will be followed by a question and answer session and the public is invited to prepare questions ahead of time.
