TAMPA, Fla. (March 16, 2018) – The Synapse innovation team is announcing the coming of Orthopedic Surgeon and inventor of the Bionic Miracle to the Tampa innovation summit.
About Dr. Ajay K Seth:
Dr. Seth successfully completed a revolutionary surgery in December of 2015 to change the architecture of the nerves in an amputee’s arm, allowing his patient to both move and feel a prosthetic arm with her brain without implanting any devices in the body. He presently is working on advancements in prosthetics with Johns Hopkins University, in relationship with Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, and through his company, Bionic Miracle, INC. Dr. Seth is also the doctor on the Canton SWAT team along with participating taking care of local high school sports teams.

He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He attended The Medical College of Wisconsin, and then The Ohio State University for his residency. He did an extra year of fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery at Allegany General Hospital.
