The Girls Who Code program aims to teach young women the basics of computer science and programming in order to close the gender gap in the tech industry. The program is for girls in grades 6-8. Girls Who Code starts March 14 at the James Weldon Johnson Community Library and meets every Wednesday from 4:30 to 6 p.m. during the school year, through May 16.
