Michael Carlson, principal of Carlson Studio Architecture with offices in Sarasota, FL and Seattle, WA, announces the addition of senior architect Steve Isaacson to the Sarasota headquarters. Isaacson brings nearly 20 years’ experience leading architectural projects to CSA staff and clients.
Isaacson earned his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Florida A&M University in 1999 and is licensed and registered in the state of Florida. He is an active member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), and is certified with the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB). Steve is also LEED accredited, and is registered as an architect through CERT (Community Emergency Response Team).
His design experience includes residential and commercial buildings, both new construction and remodels. His designs include a variety of buildings including hotels locally and in France, custom residential homes and condominiums, office buildings and interior build-outs, restaurants, assisted living facilities, and community facilities/clubhouses.
His responsibilities include all aspects of design from concept origination to finished product. “Steve is best credited for creative, outside of the box thinking, practical solutions, and precise attention to detail,” Carlson added when making the announcement.
In his free time, Steve enjoys being active in the local community. He has spent the past 6 years volunteering as a coach, and was just elected Board President, for Sarasota Little League. He also volunteers his time as a set designer and fabricator for Rise Above Performing Arts and Ashton Elementary School productions.
