St. Petersburg, FL (March 13, 2018) – Let’s get moving for the American Heart Association’s Move More Month. Join Deputy Mayor Dr. Kanika Tomalin, Healthy St. Pete and the American Heart Association Tampa Bay as they celebrate their pledge to stay active in the Sunshine City at the Move More Day Rally and Walk on Wednesday, April 4 from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at North Straub Park, 400 Bayshore Dr. NE. The event will include live music, goody bags and a group walk around the park.
During the month of April, the American Heart Association is encouraging Americans to move more and commit to begin physically active. The Move More Day Rally and Walk is hosted by Healthy St. Pete, the City of St. Petersburg and the American Heart Association Tampa Bay. Healthy St. Pete is a city initiative that works toward improving the health and well-being of residents in St. Pete through innovative projects and partnerships with organizations, such as the American Heart Association.
