The Central Pinellas Chamber of Commerce presents “The State of Pinellas County Report and Business Breakfast” on Thursday, March 22 from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. It takes place at Pinellas Technical College, 6100 154th Avenue N., Clearwater.
This is a unique opportunity to learn about projects and activities within Pinellas County government specifically as they relate to businesses. It’s coordinated by the Government Advocacy Panel (GAP), the Chamber’s political action division.
County Commission Chairman Kenneth T. Welch will offer commentary and moderate the program. Additional presentations will be made by the Sheriff’s Office, Pinellas County Economic Development and Planning, Budget and Environmental Services Departments.
“The mission of GAP is to open channels of communication between our business community and government,” said Chris Johnson of Piper Fire Protection and GAP chairman. “We’re hoping this is the first of many such programs that unites business and Pinellas County leaders.”
Registration is $10 to cover breakfast and related costs. Call (727)584-2321 or visitwww.centralchamber.biz.
