Representing music, literature, and visual art, these guests are part of the celebration of Women’s History Month
February 28, 2018 – ST. PETERSBURG, FL – First Unity welcomes a diverse trio of accomplished women in the month of March: Marcy Baruch will be in concert on Sunday, March 4th at 7pm, Korrine Holt presents an interactive program “Attune to Love” on Sunday, March 18th at 1:30pm, and the Bridget W. Marshall exhibit Opening Reception will be held on Sunday, March 11th after both the 9:30 and 11:30am services.
ABOUT MARCY BARUCH
Refreshing in versatility and scope, Marcy Baruch’s songs embrace the listener in vivid colors and textures through a number of stylistic ranges. The sounds of Scottish bagpipes, the sparseness of Americana-style folk odes, the lushness of piano-based orchestral numbers, a cappella hymns, and chants of devotion sung anew–all have their place in an evening with this soulful, engaging musical artist. Upon the release of her third CD, The Strength of Love, Marcy’s song “This Inner Space” received the emPower Music & Arts Posi Award for the best healing song of the year. She will be in concert on Sunday, March 4th at 7pm.
ABOUT KORRINE HOLT
As a creative messenger and guide for well-being, Korrine Holt draws upon her experiences as an artist, certified life coach, energy healer, and executive coach for leaders and teams. With clients ranging from CEO’s to inner city, at-risk teens and college students, she helps people resolve hardships that obstruct their vitality drain their energy, and smother their aspirations. Korrine’s intuition translates to helping people master the art of well-being and the joy of well doing. She guides people to attune Divinity and call forth Love to lead life, invoking vibrant health, relationships, creativity, and service. She will present “Attune to Love,” an interactive meditative heart and soul gathering, on Sunday, March 18th at 1:30pm.
ABOUT BRIDGET W. MARSHALL
Bridget W. Marshall is a graduate of Howard University with a degree in Fine Arts. She defines herself as an impressionistic, expressionistic colorist. Her paintings have been exhibited in galleries in New York, Washington, D.C., Maryland, and multiple galleries on Florida’s west coast. Locally, she is a member at Studio@620 and the Warehouse Arts District. Her exhibit in the I AM Center will open with a reception after both Sunday services on March 11th and is available for viewing until the end of April.
