Sarasota, Fla. (March 1, 2018) – Cat Depot announced a garden-themed extravaganza, Cat Tails – A Night in the Garden, on Friday, March 9, 2018, from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. at Marie Selby Botanical Gardens, 811 S. Palm Avenue, Sarasota. Proceeds from this annual fundraiser benefit the homeless cats and kittens rescued by the adoption center throughout the year. The evening’s festivities will be emceed by SNN Anchor Grant Boxleitner.
Guests will enjoy live entertainment under the stars by guitarist Peter Simms and Irish harpist Olivia Swaan, hand-crafted cocktails and a selection of delectable dinner options prepared by award-winning Michael’s on East, an exciting raffle, and a silent auction with items to remember.
The silent auction features unique cat silhouettes, hand-painted by world-renowned artists such as Jackson Medford, Paul Szep, Drew Strouble, Scott Causey, and Nancy Colby. Other items include stunning works of art, jewelry, cat related items, tickets to attractions, restaurant gift certificates, and much more.
Raffle tickets are available for a trip for two anywhere Jet Blue flies in the continental United States. The trip includes lodging at the winner’s choice of venue with a total value of $5,000. The drawing will be held March 9, 2018, at Cat Tails – A Night in the Garden; ticket holders do not have to be present to win. Chance drawing tickets are $25 each or five for $100.
