Saturday Morning Market Moves to Williams Park March 3; Closes For Grand Prix March 10

St. Petersburg, FL (February 26, 2018) – St. Petersburg’s Saturday Morning Market goes on the road this  Saturday, March 3, temporarily relocating to Williams Park, 350 2nd Ave.
N., as the city finalizes preparations for the March 9-11 Firestone Grand  Prix of St. Petersburg. Williams Park is only four blocks from the Market’s  regular location in the parking lot of Al Lang Stadium. Market hours are 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Favorite Market vendors offering delicious food,  fresh and organic produce, colorful crafts, and more will set up in Williams  Park from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. on March 3, accompanied by lively swing music from  Ace Jackson and the Jump Kings.

The Market will close the following  Saturday, March 10, for the Grand Prix, reopening at 9 a.m. March 17 in  its regular Al Lang Stadium parking lot location at 230 1st St. SE.

The Market is held weekly on Saturdays from October through May from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Now in its 15th season, the Saturday Morning  Market has experienced extraordinary success, becoming the largest in the  southeast US.  Approximately 10,000 customers visit weekly, shopping from
130 vendors offering fresh seafood, meats, and cheeses, gourmet prepared  foods, fresh and organic produce, flowers and plants, unique jewelry and  clothing, crafts, home dcor and more.  Customers regularly attend from  as far away as New Port Richey, Lakeland, and Venice.

The Market has been blessed with numerous awards including:

eight-time
winner of Best Farmers Market’ in Creative Loafing’s Best of the Bay’ reader  poll;
