John Jackson, Julia Rettig and Jessica Mizrahi Have Been Retained as Exclusive Leasing Advisors for Newly Remodeled, 166,680 SF Industrial Park
TAMPA, FL (February 15, 2018) – Cushman & Wakefield has been retained by Keating Resources to handle leasing for Westshore Logistics Center, a four-building, 166,680-square-foot industrial park in Tampa. The recently remodeled property is the premier logistics facility in Tampa’s Airport submarket.
Cushman & Wakefield Director John Jackson, Director Julia Rettig and Senior Associate Jessica Mizrahi are marketing the property to a variety of industrial users.
Before Keating Resources acquired Westshore Logistics Center in 2017, the property had been vacant for several years with extensive deferred maintenance. The Tampa-based developer completely remodeled the property, which is now a highly functional, top-tier facility.
Improvements include a new roof and insulation, new paint, new storefronts, new dock doors, a new fire suppression system, LED lighting and a 24/7 security gate. New landscaping and a new parking lot are also in progress.
Westshore Logistics Center is available for immediate occupancy and offers the largest block of Class A warehouse/distribution space in the Airport market. The first tenant in the property, XPO Logistics, occupies 21,900 square feet, and 144,780 square feet remains available for lease.
Situated at 5400 Southern Comfort Blvd., the property is just off Hillsborough Avenue and has frontage to the Veterans Expressway. It is also convenient to Interstate 275.
“Keating Resources has done a tremendous job of repositioning this asset into one of Tampa’s premier logistics facilities,” said Rettig. “Its central location and proximity to Tampa’s transportation network make it ideal for logistics and even last-mile distribution.”
Added Jackson, “Large blocks of industrial space are in high demand, and Westshore Logistics Center offers the largest block of available Class A space in the Airport market, which makes it very competitive.”
Rettig, Jackson and Mizrahi, along with Cushman & Wakefield’s Mike Davis, are also marketing Keating Resources’ Tampa Fulfillment Center, a planned 179,080-square-foot Class A industrial facility that will occupy an infill site near downtown Tampa.
