Colorado Springs, CO: Eclypses™ Inc. provides organizations and individuals with technology, services, and education for the secure management of sensitive digital information to mitigate risks and protect their reputation and assets.
The company offers Security As A Service (SAAS) software to protect against cyber-attacks by deploying MicroToken Exchange™, which replaces actual data with MicroToken™ clusters throughout the information process transmitted over any communications network. The technology secures one piece of data at a time so that it can be done in real time and neither security nor accessibility is sacrificed.
“The Eclypses solution solves the most significant vulnerability within the Internet of Things (IoT) space. It can be applied to devices from a garage door opener up though security locks, data sensors, industrial control systems, SCADA systems, to CAN bus and autonomous vehicles,” said David Schoenberger, Co-Founder and Chief Innovation Officer at Eclypses.
The members of the Cybersecurity Collaborative, a multi-year initiative between Operations Technology Development (OTD)—a collaboration between some of the country’s leading natural gas utilities to develop, test, and implement new technologies for the natural gas industry—and the Department of Homeland Security, are focused on identifying and addressing high-priority cyber issues through technical evaluation and technology transfer. Gas Technology Institute (GTI), a leading research and development (R&D) organization serving energy and environmental markets, is leading the project on behalf of OTD.
As part of the initiative, the research team will assess the capabilities of MicroTokenization technology to protect critical infrastructure vulnerabilities. In conjunction with the Department of Energy’s Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL), GTI signed a contract to test Eclypses’ new framework for securing commands between intelligent devices. Researchers will assess and test the capabilities of the MicroTokenization technology to identify, examine, and mitigate high-priority cyber threats.
“We are looking forward to working with the Collaborative to address their technical needs while validating our MicroToken Exchange technology through extensive testing,” said Steven Russo, Executive Vice President of Eclypses.
