The guest rooms’ boast a striking modern look, featuring a spacious and elevated design. This new direction is a shift from a focus on interior design to a strong architectural aesthetic that uses modern, residential design to create a feeling of space in a beautifully designed, premium room.
New in-room amenities are driven by consumer insights and include an elevated shower experience with walk-in showers that replace bathtubs, hard-surface floors and newly open closets to alleviate fears of leaving clothes behind. Traditional work areas or “fixed desks” have been replaced with moveable work surfaces, that also feature global power outlets, to meet guests’ desire for more flexibility, mobility and multi-function furniture.
Along with the lobby, Marriott Hotels’ Next Gen Meeting Spaces have also been a part of Tampa Marriott Westshore’s redesign. The 18 conference rooms include a flexible set-up that is adaptable to a variety of formats and group sizes with pivotable walls, moveable partitions, soft seating and modular furniture to ensure every guests’ meeting, wedding or special event is perfectly suited to their needs.
