Avner Avraham, Mossad agent and curator of Operation Finale: The Capture & Trial of Adolf Eichmann, will be the Keynote Speaker

February 9, 2017 [St. Petersburg, FL] – The Florida Holocaust Museum’s sold out To Life: Honoring the Past – Empowering the Future gala is this Saturday, February 10th! Avner Avraham, Mossad agent and curator of Operation Finale: The Capture & Trial of Adolf Eichmann, is the event’s Keynote Speaker.
Avraham curated the espionage artifacts featured in the exhibition Operation Finale: The Capture & Trial of Adolf Eichmann, which opens on February 10th at The Florida Holocaust Museum. This blockbuster exhibition is the first time the recently declassified Mossad materials have been seen outside of Israel. Over the past seven years, Avraham has dealt extensively with the subject, met with thousands of people, and collected and documented details of the operation. Avraham acquired his vast knowledge in special meetings and interviews with people who took part or were involved in the operation.
Additionally, Avraham is a world-renowned expert in Mossad operations, lecturer, writer, exhibition and film producer, and curator. He is currently a senior advisor to the Hollywood film “Operation Finale” and is also known for the exhibition on “Operation Entebbe” (Operation Yonatan). In the past, Avraham served as a Major in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), an intelligence officer, and a detective in the Israel Police.
Although The Florida Holocaust Museum’s To Life gala is sold out, the Museum invites the community to attend numerous programs, events, and exhibitions, along with its daily educational and outreach efforts, throughout the upcoming year.
