Tierra Verde Business Partnership (TVBP) is presenting its 7th Annual Classic Car & Truck Show and Taste of Tierra Verde on Saturday, March 31, 2018. The event is from 11 am to 3 pm at the downtown Tierra Verde parking lot, 1110 Pinellas Bayway South. Registration and set up begin at 9 am.
TVBP joins Premium Productions in planning a wonderful free admission day as more than 125 classic vehicles are on display plus music by DJ Tommy Tunes, food from local island restaurants and fun activities for children.
TVBP always donates a portion of its car show proceeds to a local non-profit. Car show chairman Jim Swayne, owner of Safer Home Services, a pest control company, is pleased to announce that the Pinellas County’s Sheriff’s Police Athletic League (PAL) has been chosen this year to receive funds.
Operating out of the Lealman Sports Complex, PAL offers after school tutoring and a host of other activities for 6th to 12th grade kids. The Tierra Verde Fire Department is part of the Lealman system. The island’s fire department is instrumental in supporting and helping the car show each year.
From providing free popcorn to setting up the tents, the fire department is on hand.
Come out and enjoy a Tierra Verde perfect day and fun event and support local businesses. Sponsorships on different levels are available. For more information, contact tierraverdebusinesspartnership.com/carshow or premiumcarshows.com. Or contact Jim Swayne at carshowchair@tvbp.biz.
