PALMETTO, Florida (Feb. 5, 2018) – WCI Communities, a premier developer and builder of luxury homes in Florida, is now building homes in Sanctuary Cove, a residential community being developed in Palmetto, just north of Bradenton in Manatee County. Homes in the community will feature coastal-themed exteriors, with a wide variety of home sizes and price points ranging from the $300s to the $700s.
WCI is building on 176 home sites, with 66 located on the Manatee River, which leads out to the Gulf of Mexico. Sanctuary Cove homeowners will enjoy a leisurely coastal lifestyle with access to the community’s marina, which will have 210 boat slips and six boat lifts.
The launch of Sanctuary Cove is part of a larger growth plan for WCI in west-central Florida. WCI is also in the process of planning a number of other new projects in the area, designed to meet demand from homebuyers looking to live in communities with distinctive amenities.
The Sanctuary Cove community will offer nine floorplans, ranging from the 1,962-square-foot “Grand Cayman,” a ranch-style home with three bedrooms and 2 ½ bathrooms, to the spacious 2,725-square-foot “Asti,” a two-story home with three bedrooms and 4 ½ bathrooms.
Each of the WCI homes has a two-car garage, and larger floorplans also have a separate garage for golf carts, which will be a popular mode of transportation around the 211-acre community.
Other amenities include 24-hour security, a resort-style pool, covered grilling areas, and an 8,600-square-foot clubhouse overlooking the harbor with a fitness center, game room, internet café, boat docks and event space.
The community has a beach area for residents to enjoy, and is also a short drive to world-class Gulf beaches such as Holmes Beach, Anna Maria Island and Siesta Key. It is also near several parks and nature preserves for outdoor activities like hiking and kayaking.
