Tampa, FL Florida Retail Partners negotiated a 5,315 square foot lease at 4545 W. Kennedy Boulevard in Tampa’s Westshore Business District with suite rental and beauty service provider Salon Lofts. Salon Lofts will occupy the entire building which is strategically located adjacent to David’s Bridal. This will be Salon Loft’s 14th location in the Tampa Bay market. Nationally, Salon Lofts has 106 locations and more than 2,500 stylists with over 100,000 monthly appointments booked.
Kalyn Brandewie of Florida Retail Partners, an X Team partner, represented the building owner, while Scott Wood of Retail One handled the lease negotiation on behalf of Salon Lofts. Salon Lofts will open in its new space this summer. The 5,000+ square foot space will have room for about 30 lofts ranging from 100 to 175 square feet where Independent Beauty Professionals including hair stylists, massage therapists, manicurists, and estheticians can lease and operate their own businesses within the Lofts. Ohio based Salon Lofts’ mission is to empower Independent Beauty Professionals to build their own businesses by providing them with the space, tools and support they need to be successful. This includes marketing and business support as well as a high-powered on-line booking and scheduling tool that’s free for all Loft Owners.
“We are excited to open a Westshore location,” said Salon Lofts CEO, Steve Schillinger. “Our Loft Owners will have access to a population base of over 200,000 within five miles of the salon and a location in the heart of Florida’s largest business district. That’s a lot of potential clients.”
