February 6, February 27 & March 6
The St. Petersburg Library System and Florida CraftArt present a series of three workshops at the Main Library, 3745 Ninth Avenue North, to create beautiful paper flowers to be used in the Florida CraftArt exhibition “Dia de los Muertos: A Celebration of Life.” The workshops will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesdays, February 6, February 27 and March 6, 2018. The workshops are free and open to the public.
The paper flowers that are created at the library workshops will be used to create a floral archway entrance to the Dia de los Muertos exhibition from April 6 – May 26. Children must be accompanied by an adult, and all flowers created during the program will be used for the floral archway. All materials will be supplied.
The St. Petersburg Library System is pleased to offer this program as a part of its Community Development Initiative, a method to enhance the provision of resources, services, and programs focused on the Education, Economy, Ecology, Equity, Efficiency and Engagement of our community.
