ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (Jan. 31, 2018) ¬– B2 Communications, a St. Petersburg-based public relations agency, has added Nick Piburn as an account manager. Piburn brings significant public relations, communications and marketing experience to his role as account manager at B2, where he works with such clients as The Dawson Academy and Museum of Fine Arts, St. Petersburg.
Before joining B2, Piburn was product communications manager at CentralReach, which builds practice management and data collection software for medical practices in the developmental disabilities and therapies sectors. He led all organizational communications and PR for the international healthcare company, and provided PR and communications consulting for the organization’s sister companies.

Piburn previously managed communications and PR for WellBiz Brands, Inc., one of the largest health and wellness brands in the U.S. He led consumer public relations initiatives, executive and internal communications, and content development for WellBiz Brands’ three franchise brands: Elements Massage, Fitness Together and FIT36.
He began his career working for several Major League Baseball teams, including the Colorado Rockies and Texas Rangers. As assistant director of communications for the Rockies, he led the team’s national and international PR and media outreach, and helped implement social media strategy to connect the team more directly with fans.
Piburn graduated from Colorado State University with a bachelor’s degree in technical journalism and mass communications with a minor in political science. He’s also a member of the Public Relations Society of America.
